4 Months of Boredom

When I moved back in February, I really wanted to start saving money.  I cancelled my direct tv service and have been without cable etc since then, not even bunny ears.  There was a cool app called Aereo which just got shut down by the U.S. Supreme Court which I used and it was great.  It allowed you to view all the local channels via Chromecast and even gave you a mini cloud DVR.  Well Today I went to the local Comcast store and took the plunge sorta. I got the cheapest package and a ghetto fabulous cable box (Not DVR) but at least I can watch the news and the Astros on my big sexy wall mounted t.v. now instead of Netflix (Which I've seen every movie twice on)

I self installed and come to find out there is a problem with the cable line.  Comcast informed me the last time they had supplied cable to this apartment was back in 2009.  So now I must wait till Saturday between 8 am and 8 pm for comcast to arrive. Now more than likely I'll get called into work and have to cancel and be change a late cancellation fee or some shit..

Oh and I got HBO too so won't have to watch pirated versions of TrueBlood on computer.. first two episodes were very good.
